A few months ago, while describing the record I’ve always dreamed of making, my manager exclaimed that he knew only one person who could make this happen — Rob Mathes.
Curiosity led me to do a little research, and I quickly discovered that Rob has collaborated with some of my all-time favorite artists — Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Ray Charles, and many others.
Last week, we had the privilege of spending three incredible days in Chicago with Rob, immersed in tunesmithing, lyric crafting, and refining the bridges and structures of four songs that will anchor this next project.
The creative sessions were punctuated by two wonderful evenings out — Gibson’s Italia and Joe’s Seafood — where the conversations were as rich as the meals themselves.

We’re now thrilled to share that a recording session is booked with Rob Mathes at The Power Station in New York City, the first of the year. The journey continues — and stay tuned for updates and details.
A big shout-out and heartfelt thanks to my manager, Kent Anderson, for his always-impressive networking skills and unwavering belief in the music.
