We recently brought together an all-star team in Chicago to capture professional audio and video for Dario’s brand-new EPK. This crew was truly the best of the best — Paul Natkin (video), Freddie Breitberg (audio engineering), and Kent & Gerey Johnson from C Sharp, with the entire project directed by four-time Emmy winner, Jock Hedblade.

Of course, the best-laid plans sometimes take a turn. Just as we were about to roll at the original venue, a construction crane outside quickly made it abundantly clear that the noise would necessitate a change of venue. Quick thinking led us to relocate to a private residence — proving once again that creativity is as much about flexibility as it is about talent.

What followed was a full day of filming, fueled by coffee, good friends, and (most importantly) tacos for lunch. Each member of the team captured incredible material, and now Jock is working with his longtime collaborator and trusted Emmy-winning editor, Lou Hinkhouse, whose credits include How Chicago Rocked the 60’s and Smashing Pumpkins: Full Circle.  

We’re deep in production now, but promise — you’ll be the first to see the final cut. Exciting things ahead!
